Barbara Clement

VP of Marketing & Communications, Two Ten Footwear Foundation

Before making the leap to nonprofit work, Barbara held a variety of marketing and communications roles in the tech industry. But for the past two decades she has focused on helping purpose-driven organizations build marketing capacity, raise brand visibility/issue awareness, increase audience engagement, and implement effective community outreach.

Prior to joining Two Ten, she headed up the national marketing and communications team at the Network for the Teaching Entrepreneurship and prior to that led digital initiatives at the Child Mind Institute. Before that she served as managing editor and content strategist for the Meatless Monday Campaign and several other public health marketing initiatives developed in collaboration with Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Center for a Liveable Future.

Barbara did undergraduate and graduate work at Princeton University. She lives in a small town on the Jersey Shore where Porchfest is the highlight of the social season (second only to the Halloween Parade) and coffeehouses still outnumber brewpubs.
